Accessibility Statement

We want to ensure that all people have easy and self-determined access to our website – regardless of individual abilities or technical requirements. That’s why we continuously work to make our content accessible – in line with the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the EU Directive 2019/882.

What we have already implemented

In the lower-left corner of our website, you’ll find an icon for Accessibility Tools. Clicking on it opens a control panel with useful functions for individually adjusting the display. These include:

Increase contrast
Highlight links
Larger text & font change
Adjust character spacing
Show additional descriptions
Pause animations
Activate reading aid
Navigate using the Tab key
Customize mouse pointer

What we are still improving

Despite the measures already implemented, the following areas are currently not fully accessible:

The checkout process is not yet fully operable by keyboard and contains form elements without sufficient screen reader labels.
Some embedded content (e.g. sliders, popup elements, captchas) is not fully accessible to screen readers.
PDF documents are not consistently prepared in an accessible format.
Embedded third-party plugins do not always meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 AA.
Certain links are not clearly labeled.
Some elements have insufficient contrast ratios.
Voice control and support for special input devices are currently not available.

Our plan

We take accessibility seriously – not only as a legal obligation but as part of our commitment to a good user experience for everyone. The above points are currently being reviewed and gradually improved.
